He is survived by: his children, Allen Duplantis (Suzie), Alfred J. Duplantis Jr. (Lori), Bobbie Jo Lirette (Doug) and Shirley D. Dupre; and his brother-in-law Robert "Bobby" Blanchard (Shira). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 2 grandson in laws; 3 granddaughter in laws; 11 great-grandchildren.
