It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merle Keith Rhodes of Chatham, Louisiana, who passed away on December 10, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlie Rhodes and Edna Rhodes (Dickerson); his brother Lynwood Rhodes; and his brothers-in-law, Rudolph Tarver and D. R. Avery.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Rhodes (Avery); his son Russell Rhodes; his grandchildren, William R. Rhodes, Lacey, Elijah R. Rhodes, Ashley, Avery R. Rhodes and Heather; his great grandchildren, Aiden, Asher, Audrey, Aleck and Ella; and his sister Nadine Tarver.
