He was predeceased by: his parent L. E. Kneipp (Ed). He is survived by: his wife Kay; his mother Patricia Grissom Kneipp; his children, Kristy Day (Brady), Katy Lingle (Mark), Kellye Cunningham (Nate), Emily Kneipp and Samuel Kneipp; his grandchildren, Drew, Alex Day, Sarah Kathryn, Matthew Lingle, Paige, Ella, Avery, Cole Cunningham and Lonnie Ray Hasley; his siblings, Judy Kneipp Bouchard, Lee Kneipp (Lindy) and Dave Kneipp (Kelly); and his uncle Stuart Grissom (Linda). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and godchildren.
At Don's request, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to MD Anderson Hospital, St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Catholic Charities of North Louisiana.
