She was predeceased by: her parents, Josephine Wood Randle and Elijah Randle; her husband Jules Alexander, Sr.; her children, Jules Alexander, Jr., Darrell Alexander and Irene Lowe; her siblings, Florence Yelling, Martha Bell Collins, Mary Louise Randle, Leona Randle, James Randle, Sr., Roland Randle, Clarence Randle and Junius Randle; and her granddaughters, Tamika Alexander and Faith Armelin.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Lowe Robinson, Ophelia Lowe, Martha Carter Armelin, Carlin Randle, Verdice Alexander, Earl Alexander (Irene), Sandra Alexander Bourgeois (Christopher) and Penny Alexander; her sister Irene Randle; her daughter-in-law Fran Alexander; her goddaughter Lillie Mae Washington; her son Byron Jones; and her close friend Northa Lee Holmes. She is also survived by twenty three grandchildren, 51 great grandchildren, and eleven great great grandchildren.
