It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Preston Joseph LeBlanc of Charenton, Louisiana, born in Jeanerette, Louisiana, who passed away on December 28, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilton LeBlanc and Marie LeBlanc; his parents-in-law, Bennett and Odette Hebert; his siblings, Olivia Guillotte, Elton LeBlanc and Milton LeBlanc; his son-in-law Mark; and his granddaughters, Mayci Breaux, Courtney Durocher and Heather Blanchard.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hebert LeBlanc of Charenton; his children, Blair Leblanc (Monica) of Charenton, Lance "Tibby" LeBlanc (Jill) of Youngsville, Cindy Mire (David) of Baldwin, Melanie "Mel" Durocher of Charenton, Carrie Barrilleaux (Chris) of Franklin, Lana Sanchez (John) of New Iberia and Dondie Breaux (Kevin) of Franklin; his grandchildren, Brandon LeBlanc, Misty Moore, Brittany Sanders, Brian Mire, Eric Mire, Denny Mire, Devan Lancon, Baley Durocher, Cara Landry, Calli Landry, Jayna Barras, Joshua Sanchez, Dustin Breaux, Ali Breaux, Mason LeBlanc and Aiden LeBlanc; his sister Gertrude Naquin of Jeanerette; and his grandsons, Bo Barrilleaux and Jordan. He is also survived by 38 great grandchildren and awaiting 2 additional great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the doctors and care team at Franklin Foundation Hospital and Thibodaux Regional Health System for their dedication, compassion and kindness during that difficult time.
