With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Elizabeth Jackson of Charenton, Louisiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Lockett Jr. and Hazel Marks Lockett; her husband Peter Leon Jackson Sr.; her son Peter Leon Jackson Jr.; and her siblings, Alexander Lockett III, William James Lockett Sr., Alvin Joseph Lockett, Doris Ann Williams and Sedonia Marie Jospeh.
She is survived by: her son Kirk P. Jackson Sr.; her brother Curtis James Lockett (Belinda) of Baton Rouge, LA; her grandchildren, Quentin Robinson of Four Corners, LA, Kayla S. Jackson of Four Corners, LA, Keante A. Jackson of Jeanerette, LA, Kaysha Pradia of Houston, TX, Kirsten Jackson of New Iberia, LA, Kirk P. Jackson, Jr. of Youngsville, LA and Kaden P. Jackson of Youngsville, LA; and her brothers-in-law, Clarence Joseph Jr. and Ralph Williams. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren and fifteen GOD children.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church (11200 Old Jeanerette Rd, Jeanerette, LA 70544). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
