He was predeceased by: his grandparents, James and Emily Carter. He is survived by: his daughters, Dominique Godley of Houston Texas and Morgan Willis of Houston Texas; his grandchildren, Ta'Leah Atkinson of Houston Texas, Tavion Atkinson of Houston Texas and Tomiyah Godley of Houston Texas; his parents, Charles Carter-Henderson and Sherry Carter-Henderson of Charenton, Louisiana; his sisters, LaTonga Carter-Williams (Elliott) of Selma, Trina Sanders (Darryl) of Port Allen, LaTrail Carter-Tillman (Michael) of Baldwin, Lyn Henderson of Ovilla, Vida Henderson of Seattle and Demetria Henderson of Cunningham, Virginia; his aunts, Roslyn Phillips and Guen Carter; his uncle Jerial Carter; and his friends, Eddie Pierson of Woodland and Norris Price of Willis, Texas. He is also survived by other nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.
