He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucille Heid Tedesco and Chavrio "Ted" Joseph Tedesco; his parents-in-law, Muriel Clancy Papania and Joseph Vincent Papania, Sr.; and his brother-in-law Joseph (Vincent Papania, Jr.).
He is survived by: his wife Daryl Papania Tedesco; his sister Susan Tedesco Ross (George A. Williams); his sister-in-law Linda Bayola Papania; his children, Todd Joseph Tedesco (Kimberly), Tara Jody Tedesco (John McQueen) and Trent Nicholas Tedesco (Annelise); his grandchildren, Preston Tedesco, Ross Tedesco (Ashley Westerman), Annie Taffaro, Alexander Tedesco, Peyton McQueen and Lauren McQueen; his great grandchild Lucas Tedesco; his nephews, Rusty Russo and Jino Papania; and his niece Lisa Mackles. He is also survived by many loving great nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Bernard Memorial Gardens (701 W Virtue St, Chalmette, LA 70043). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
He lived out these principles in every aspect of his life and continued exhibiting them in his valiant fight with Parkinson's. Though his fight is over, even in his passing he urges others afflicted to continue in the good fight.
