She is survived by: her child Zakary Nathan Zanovec (Mindy); her grandchildren, Megan Widmer, Jacob Widmer, Cody Widmer and Alex Zanovec; her brother Steven Lawrence Gitz; and her nephews, Peter Gitz (Robin), Eric Gitz (Melissa) and Alan Gitz (Jamie).

“Dear Family of Sheralee Gitz Zanovec I am very sorry to hear her passing .My thoughts and prayers go out to you all at this very sad time.She was a beautiful person inside and out.We got to be good friends as she lived in my building in Baton Rouge Villa St Francis she told me wonderful stories of her family and we visited each other often.She and I moved in a month of each other and we got to be friends instantly .She is now free from Sickness watching down on her loved ones Sincerely Joan Hall”
