She was predeceased by: her husband Alvin J. Menesses Sr.; her former husband Louis LaBasse Jr.; and her parents, Edward Delaune and Amelia Strassel Delaune. She is survived by: her children, Deborah M. Alfonso (Glenn) and Alvin J. Menesses Jr. (Denise); her sister Pearl D. Roper; and her grandchildren, Kevin J. Gaspard (Wendy), Gwendolyn A. Landry (Michael), Rebecca A. Duhon (Michael), Shawn J. Menesses (Christina), Crystal D. Gautreaux (Jeremy) and Kenyean J. Menesses. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
