He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene Thibodeaux Scallan and Sylvain A. Scallan; and his brother Tony S. Scallan. He is survived by: his pet Sophie; his wife Patricia Eckelmann Scallan; his daughters, Toni Lynn S. Pelaez (Pelayo) and Rhonda S. Sawaya (David); his sisters, Carolyn S. Wood (late Harold), Sylvia S. Worthington (Robert) and Judith Scallan; his grandchildren, Ryan Pelaez, Jeremy Sawaya (Kate), Madeline S. Toler (Austin), Sean Sawaya, Sarah Sawaya and David Sawaya III; and his stepsons, Alan Wells (Lorie) and Timothy Wells (Jeannie). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and step grandchildren.

Masks are mandatory when attending services.
