He was predeceased by: his spouse Patricia Ann Hoolahan Lehrmann; his parent Ernst Lehrmann; and his sibling Margie Pelitere. He is survived by: his children, Gwendolyn Melerine (Leo), Heidi Spotorno Lehrmann, Jr. (Mann) and Beth Estopinal (Eddie); his grandchildren, Leo Melerine, III, Brittney Mastascuso, Gabrielle Spotorno, Peyton Lehrmann, Kristen Vincent, Tyler Estopinal, Cody Estopinal and Nathan Davis; his great grandchildren, Lydia Mastascuso, Noah, Jayce Spotorno, Parker and Brayden Davis; his parent Ethel Lehrmann; and his siblings, Ernel Lauga and Ike Lehrmann. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
