It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rodney Peter Mader Sr. (Chalmette, Louisiana), born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on June 2, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hermann Thomas and Aurelia Striethorst Mader; his children, Deborah Mader Naquin, Robert Mader, Terri Mader Jackson, Karen Ann and Rodney P. Mader, Jr.; and his grandchildren, Arnold (Tracy), Chad (Barry Naquin), Erick (Amanda), Blake (Taylor), Madison Jackson (Logan), Brittany Jackson Miller (Ryan), Courtney Jackson Neumeyer (Rodney) and Robert Mader, Jr.. He was also cherished by 15 great-grandchildren.
