We are sad to announce that on August 18, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Paul Shirley Sr. of Chalmette, Louisiana, born in Waynesboro, Mississippi. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Shirley and Ruby Sumlin; his son Paul Shirley, Jr.; and his siblings, Ruby Jewel Sumlin and Billie Rose Ferrino.

He is survived by: his wife Minnie Faye Brezeale Shirley; and his daughters, Rhonda Shirley and Peggy Shirley. He is also survived by three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

In honor of Paul, donations can be made to the Paul Shirley, Jr. Scholarship Fund.
