As Oscar departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Oscar. Though Oscar may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Ryan Ledet; his daughter Tammy; and his parents, Jeffrey Ledet and Beatriz Perez Ledet. He is survived by: his sons, Bobby Ledet (Sally), Michael Ledet and Wayne Ledet (Lisa); and his sister Bernice Nunez. He is also survived by his many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home (701 W Virtue St, Chalmette, LA 70043). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
