It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew Bernard Strasser Jr. (Chalmette, Louisiana), born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on May 8, 2018, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his sibling Mary Ruth Strasser Rivero; and his sibling-in-law George Dermody. He is survived by: his children, Robert M. Strasser, Michael L. Strasser and Ruth E. Strasser Cremers; his children-in-law, Michael Cremers and Valerie M. Strasser; his granddaughter Anna Marie Cremers; his siblings, Dianne Strasser Hecker and Beverly Strasser Kzirian; and his sibling-in-law Catherine Dunn Dermody. He is also survived by many nieces and nephew.
