She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Borne and Lillian Borne; her husband Ferdinand Meyers; and her siblings, Lilly Mae Adragna, Rosemary Priest, Violet Cure, Harold, Marvin, Gerald "Boo", Donald, Lloyd, Ray, Syndney, Norman and Carroll Borne.
She is survived by: her sister Shirley Lachney; and her children, Roxanne Taylor (David), Ricky Meyers (Anna), Kim Mayard (Mike) and Dwayne Meyers (Lori). She is also survived by seven grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home (701 W Virtue St, Chalmette, LA 70043). A Mass was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Masses or Donations may be made in her memory to a charity of your choice, reflecting the love and generosity that defined her life.
