Though LaJean McMahon may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those LaJean McMahon touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Spencer Stafford; and her parents, Charles McMahon and Doris Derks McMahon. She is survived by: her children, Mark Stafford (Dawn), Kirk Stafford and Ruth Rucker (Brent); and her grandchildren, Lynsey Stafford, Madison Stafford, Brad Rucker, Dylan Rucker and Brooke Umphenour (Bryan). She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home (701 W Virtue St, Chalmette, LA 70043). A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
