It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jesse Lee Schmidt (Chalmette, Louisiana), born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on November 15, 2021, at the age of 29, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandfather Vernon; and his brother Eric Mayer. He is survived by: his parents, Melissa Mayer (Eric) and Kevin Schmidt; his children, Elijah Joseph Fleetwood and Averi Elizabeth Schmidt; his grandmothers, Gladys Schmidt and Yvonne Shelton; his siblings, Kayla Schmidt, Mariah Mayer Duhe (Sal), Brandi Mayer and Kevin Schmidt; and his nieces and nephews, Anamaria Marrero, Levee Schmidt, Jolie Duhe, Salvador Duhe, Bella Grace and Aleah Yvette. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
