He was predeceased by: his son Guy Cardinale, Jr. (Cynthia); his parents, Gasper Cardinale and Evelyn Tennerello Cardinale; and also Giselle. He is survived by: his children, Kim Cardinale and Jill Floyd (Michael Sr.); his grandchildren, Angela, Tiffany, Michael Jr., Amber and Hayley-Jude; his great grandchildren, Colyn, Gianna, Gabriel, Sophia, Kinnley, Sawyer, Kollins and Dawson; his siblings, Mary Cardinale Trapani and Gasper Cardinale; and his nieces and nephews, Jude, Tara and Julianne.
