He was predeceased by: his wife Janice "Christine" Mills; his son Kurt Mills; his parents, Anthony Mills and Louise Mills; and his siblings, Earline Richard (Roy) and Harry Mills (Shirley).

He is survived by: his sons, Kevin Mills and Keith Mills; his grandchildren, Kayla Mills and Kevin Mills Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Kamdyn Joseph Dunn and Devyn Bailey Christine Mills.
