He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Silcio Resendez; his parents, Maria Garcia Resendez and Jesse Resendez; his siblings, Alfred Resendez, Mary Bradford, Henry Resendez, Albert Resendez, Author Resendez and Jesse Resendez; and his son Frank Resendez Jr..

He is survived by: his brother Robert Bradford (Debbie); his children, Jesse Resendez Sr. and Lynn Holmes (Jay Holmes); his grandchildren, Joe Paillot, Tiffany Wimberly and Candice Waldrop (Cody Waldrop); and his great grandchildren, David Wimberly, Hailey Wimberly, Mason Wimberly, Rowdy Waldrop and Rowan Waldrop.
