She was predeceased by: her husband Alphonse "Red" Chaplain Jr.; her children, June Chaplain and Kevin Chaplain; her daughter-in-law Angele Chaplain; her parents, Gladys Francioni and Gaston Francioni; and her sisters, Edna Lopez, Betty Jo Francioni, Elaine Held and Linda Enmon.

She is survived by: her children, Belinda Chaplain, Alan Chaplain, Sharon Grogan (Donald), Agnes Buffone (Tony), Derek Chaplain Sr. (Debra) and Eric Chaplain; her sister Carol Cagney (Bill); and her grandchildren, Curtis, Valerie, Lynette, Kristen, Derek Jr., Nicole, Kerry, Dillon, Summer, Courtney, Amber, Larry, David, Kelley, Logan, Spencer, Taylor, Tyler, Emily and Molly. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
