She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph; her daughter Maureen "Renie" Vasquez; her parents, Joseph "Lafite" Serigne Sr. and Camellia Campo Serigne; and her brother Joseph Serigne Jr. (Francis).
She is survived by: her daughters, Ruth Gettle (late Jerry Gettle Sr.) and Barbara Jackson (Tommy); and her brother Paul Serigne Sr. (Philomene).
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home (701 W Virtue St, Chalmette, LA 70043). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
