It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ethel Sigur Lamarque (Chalmette, Louisiana), born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on December 25, 2019, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Carroll "Billy" Lamarque; her parents, Sidney Sigur and Ida Prevost Sigur; her brother Lionel Sigur; and her grandson Noah Clement.

She is survived by: her children, Linda Schaumburg (Edward), Arlene Donovan (Paul), Carroll Lamarque Jr. and Carl Lamarque; her siblings, Elaine Ehrhard, Frederick Sigur and James Sigur; her grandchildren, Kristian Schaumburg (Brennan), Justin Schaumburg (Erin), Britton Giardina (John), Jonah Clement, Carroll Lamarque III (Robin), Lauren Romero (Luke) and Carl Lamarque Jr.; her great grandchildren, Dace, Piper Schaumburg, Shepherd, Christian, Isaac, Oliver, Beau Schaumburg, Ainsley Nunez, Grace, Ian, Gabriel, Francesca Giardina, Tyler, Elijah Clement, Samantha Jensen, Cody, Parker, Addison Lamarque and Levi Romero; and her great great grandchild Lola Jones. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
