It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edna Fay Erwin (Chalmette, Louisiana), born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on December 30, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her former husband John Lewis Erwin; her daughter Kelly Ann Erwin; her parents, A. Curt Lafrance, and Edna Lafrance, Sr.; and her siblings, Albert C. Lafrance, Jr., Arthur L. Lafrance Sr. (late Lorraine) and Patsy Lafrance Pannagl.

She is survived by: her spouse Texan; her daughter Rebecca Lyn Erwin; her siblings, Lanny Lafrance (Jean) and Linda Lafrance Fernandez (late Ronnie); her sister-in-law Gertrude "Trudie" Reinhard Lafrance (late Albert); and her nephews, Marc M. Lafrance and Martin "Ron" Ronald Fernandez, Jr.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
