She is survived by: her children, Linda Sans Martinez (Pete), Wilfred Paul Brousse (Lisa) and Bernard W. Vollentine (Elaine). She is also survived by the many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Since Doris loved animals, the family has suggested a donation to St.Tammany Humane Society in her name to anyone who would like to honor her memory.
