He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Basil (Gloria Manzella); his wife Jody Lopiccolo Manzella; his children, Michelle Dennis (L. Allen Dennis Jr.), Chelly Lozes (Clarke Lozes), Dominique Illg (Daniel Illg), David Manzella Jr. (Grace Manzella), Dylan Manzella and Destiny Manzella; his grandchildren, L. Allen Dennis III, Brielle Dennis, Clarke Michael Lozes, Lily Lozes, Mikayla Glendening, Giuliana Glendening, Shawn David Glendening, Oliver Manzella, Calvin Manzella and Pearl Manzella; and his brother Brian Manzella.

Visitation was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Seale Funeral Home (1720 S Range Ave, Denham Springs, LA 70726). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. An entombment was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Homes (701 W Virtue St, Chalmette, LA 70043).
