Though Betty may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald J. Ducoing; her daughter Susan Gautier; her parents, Julius V. Gauthier and Frances G. Gauthier; and her brother Michael V. Gauthier.
She is survived by: her children, Judy D. Norwalt (Jim) and Mark J. Ducoing (Jeni); her sister Beverly G. Nores; and her sister-in-law Jackie Gauthier. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home (701 W Virtue St, Chalmette, LA 70043). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
