He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexis Sonnier and Sylvia Delcambre Sonnier; and his brother Tommy Sonnier. He is survived by: his wife Jean LeBlanc Sonnier; his children, Dacia S. Broussard (Derek) and Shannon Sonnier (Anita); his grandchildren, Brandon Sonnier, Jeremy Sonnier, Lee Smith, Coby Broussard (Shira) and Collin Broussard; and his brothers, David Sonnier (Josette) and Ronnie Sonnier.
