He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Patty" Smith May; his sons, Davey Paul May Jr., Billy James May (Joanie Spencer) and Joshua Thomas May; his grandchildren, Kayla Derouen, Madilynn Derouen, Carmen Marie May, Allyson Wilson (Chris), Emilie McLean (Luke), Haylie Miller, Dax Spencer, Dakota Spencer, Whittney Aucoin and Jessa Aucoin; his great grandchildren, James, Sonia, Zane, Declyn, Olivia and Audrey; his siblings, Robert C. May III (Jennifer), Susan May Stansbury (Brian), Debbie May Lancon (Timothy), Jeanne May LeBlanc (Glenn) and Betty May Marquette (Mike); his brother-in-law Blaise Smith (Karen); and his daughter-in-law Claire Bourgeois. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
