He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Mauritz and Irene Mauritz; and his siblings, Fred Mauritz, David Mauritz, Helen Ford and Brenda Mauritz.
He is survived by: his children, Jamie Mauritz (Kala) of Pineville and Barbie Ellis (Chris) of Alexandria; his stepdaughter Angela Tibbetts (Bret) of Alexandria; his sisters, Pauline Perry (Booger) of Hineston, Bootise Pierce of Center Point and Dolly Bradford of Jena; and his grandchildren, Julie Mauritz, Jonah Mauritz, Kynzie Mauritz, Kolt Martin and Gunnar Townsend.
