With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lovinia Singleton of Cecilia, Louisiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Lovinia left this world on March 13, 2025 at the age of 95, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Neolie Jolivette Broussard and Eddie Broussard, Sr.; her husband Freddie Singleton; her daughters, Mary Rose Broussard and Lois Clues; her stepgrandson Jason Broussard; her siblings, Vida Derousselle, Viola Zeno, Lorena Zeno, Eddie Broussard, Jr., Clayton Broussard, Russell Broussard, Nedly Broussard and Artista Broussard; and her sons-in-law, Allen Broussard and Gary Turner.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rosalie Singleton Turner and Nellie Singleton; her grandchildren, Rachael Mouton (Richard), Edgar Broussard, Sr., Nathaniel Dauphine, Monique Hawkins (Milton), Lawrence Ray Williams and Vicki Clues; her stepgrandchildren, Mary Calbert and Brian "Ben" Turner; her son-in-law David Clues; and her sisters-in-law, Leona Andrus, Hilda Broussard and Myrtle Singleton. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Pellerin Funeral Home (2238 Bushville Hwy, Arnaudville, LA 70521). A rosary will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:15 AM at the Pellerin Funeral Home - Cecilia (2238 Bushville Hwy, Arnaudville, LA 70512). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church (2184 Bushville Hwy, Arnaudville, LA 70512).
