He is survived by: his parents, John Sam and Michelle Lewis Sam; his daughter Kaia Sam; his brothers, Dortavean Jones and Kavonta Demouchet; his close friend Jonasia Williams; his sister Kirron Sam; his grandparents, Alvin, Mary Lewis and Linda Anderson Sam; and his great-grandparent Emily Robicheaux. He is also survived by aunts, uncles.
