It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest Schexnider of Cecilia, Louisiana, who passed away on July 25, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fernest Schexnider and Eugenie Leonard Schexnider; his son Michael "Fish" Schexnider; his brother Ray Schexnider (Dot); his grandson Tray Trahan; his in-laws, Clismae and Rose Istre Broussard; and his brother-in-law Golden Randy Broussard.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy Mae B. Schexnider; his children, Ricky James Schexnider (Sharon) and Kristene "Meg" Ann Arabie (Darrel); his siblings, William Schexnider (Melinda), Sam Schexnider (Sandra), Lydia Schexnider, Barbara Schexnider and Linda Frellish; his grandchildren, Bruce Schexnider (Lindsay), Ryan Schexnider (Kelly), Lindsey Arabie, Michelle Blanchard, Dustin Breaux (Zoey) and Mamie Cooke; his great grandchildren, Linus, Abigail, Isabella, Colin, Chanyng, Braxtyn, Ellyana, Briley, Ivy, Phonex, Breeze, Drake, Victorian, Kolby and Brayden; and his great great grandchild Ivan.
