He was predeceased by: his parents, Clovis Schexnyder and Evelyn Campbell Schexnyder; his great grandchildren, Adiana and Austin Chaisson; and his brothers, Fernest Schexnyder, Warman Schexnyder, Raywood Schexnyder and Walter Schexnyder.

He is survived by: his wife Della Schexnyder; his children, Patricia Ann Osborn, Cathy Brumwell (Matt), Jude Schexnyder (Diane) and Joseph Chad Schexnyder; his sisters, Lorin Leather and Betty Daigle; and his grandchildren, Tricia Chaisson, Kasie Willis, Chris Cole, Sara Kathryn Fly, Matthew Fontenot, Ben Schexnyder, Collin Schexnyder and Ethan Schexnyder. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
