With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Anita Blanchard of Cecilia, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 7, 2024 at the age of 81. She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald Blanchard; her parents, Abel Zeringue and Jeanne Schexnayder Zeringue; and her siblings, Anthony Zeringue, Roy Zeringue and Rose May Dupuis.

She is survived by: her sons, Dexter Blanchard, Lynn Blanchard, Dean Blanchard and Jude Blanchard; and her sister Betty Pronnake. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
