She was predeceased by: her husband Rodney Paul Degeyter; her parents, Albin Angelle and Helen Bethancourt Angelle; her daughter-in-law Shirley Degeyter; her grandchildren, Byron James Degeyter II and Jammie Wayne Degeyter; her great grandchild Devon Leger; her siblings, Roger Angelle, Jim Angelle, Jessie Angelle, Barbara "YoYo" Lasseigne, Paola Bogue and Aline Hohle; her niece Sabrina "Sebby" Simon; and her nephew Mark Holie.
She is survived by: her children, Kirby Degeyter, Wayne Degeyter (Janelle), Byron Degeyter (Jennie) and Pamela Berard (Edwin). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren.
