With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sally Bogan Bissonnette of Castor, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 13, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Sally Bogan departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Sally Bogan may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Sally Bogan leaves behind.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Bogan and Willie C. Bogan; and her sister Betty Bogan (Anthony Bissonnette). She is survived by: her daughters, Vicki Pickett (Marcy) of Castor, LA and Candi Gijsbers (Gary) of Rio Rancho, NM. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 18th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Rockett Funeral Home (2438 Military Rd, Ringgold, LA 71068). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Ebenezer Cemetery.
