It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Opal Coats in Castor, Louisiana, born in Qulin, Missouri, who passed away on September 25, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Roberson and Cora Vancil Roberson; her husband Manning Coats; and her sister Irene "Bean" Haston. She is survived by: her children, Brenda White, Donna Corley (Roger), Rhonda Duck (Darron) and Michael Coats (Michelle); and her grandchildren, Josh Corley (Mary), Maria Corley, Jonathon Duck, Jarrod Duck (Samantha), Janna Duck, Austin Coats (Tara), Alexis Coats, Bailey McCartney, Mackenzie McCartney and Melissa White (Scott). She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
