He was predeceased by: his parents, Melton Pickett and Susie Pickett; his daughter Ruby Torralva; his granddaughter Lila Sobolak; his sister Billie Salter; and his son-in-law James Blythe.
He is survived by: his wife Vicki Pickett of Castor, LA; his children, Scarlett McMellon (Chris) of Martin, LA, Matt Pickett of Martin, LA, Jenifer Blythe of Bossier City, LA, Joe Sanford (Sandra) of Castor, LA and Jeremy Sanford (Jennie) of Bossier City, LA; and his siblings, Mary Edwards of Shreveport, LA and H. D. "Nubbin" Pickett of Doyline, LA. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rockett Funeral Home (2438 Military Rd, Ringgold, LA 71068). A graveside service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Ebenezer Cemetery.
