She was predeceased by: her parents, Murph Woodard and Elree Woodard; and her son Charles Daniel McCarthy II. She is survived by: her husband Harold "Hopper" McCarthy of Castor, LA; her sister Barbara Herald (Mark) of Knoxville, TN; her daughter-in-law Tunie McCarthy of Castor, LA; and her grandchildren, Thomas H. McCarthy, Kassi Garcie (Chris Havard), Dee Bowser, Beverly McCarthy (Jason Gross), Charles Daniel McCarthy III (Pamela) and Clifford J. McCarthy.
