He is survived by: his daughters, Kathleen James of St Gabriel and Lakisha Johnson; his grandchildren, Brandon James of Baton Rouge, Jordan Lizana of Baton Rouge, Tamara Andrews of Baton Rouge and Allayah S. Henry of Baton Rouge; his great grandchildren, Khloe, Athena James of Baton Rouge, LA and Madison James of St Gabriel; his siblings-in-law, Aristeal Craige (Clara) of Kempher, Melvin Craige (Linda), Rev Dr Henry James, Julia Hall, Sr (Clarence) of St Gabriel, Wilma Cushenberry of St Gabriel, Annie M. Early of St Gabriel, Sinda Craige of St Gabriel and Patricia Craige (Eddie) of St Gabriel; his daughter Kayla York of Baton Rouge; and also, Katheleen James, Claudia Fisher of Zachary and Doris Meade.
