She was predeceased by: her parents, Elie Domingue and Theresa Sonnier Prejean; her husband Lionel Smith, Sr.; her daughters, Rufina Comeaux and Geneva Cheek; her grandchildren, Kenneth Cheek, John Chambers, Junior Cheek, Deanna Griffith (Sissy) and Dennesa Gail Cheek; and her siblings, George (Hazel Domingue), John (Geraldine Bordelon) and Jeanette Bordelon.
She is survived by: her children, Lionel (Cathy Smith) of Rayne, LA, Edward (Theresa Smith) of Cade, LA, Phillip (Tammy Smith) of Arp, TX, Ronald (Charlotte Smith) of Lafayette, LA and Genevieve (Gary Chambers) of Lafayette, LA; and her brother Henry TLynn Domingue (Dorothy) of Carencro, LA. She is also survived by thirty grandchildren; sixty-nine great grandchildren; forty-two great-great grandchildren; and six great-great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 8:00 PM.
