He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick James Fenning and Marianne Baker; and his siblings, Frederick Jeffery Fenning, Marianne "Hollie" Knight and Bonnie Stewart.
He is survived by: his spouse Sylvia Kidder Fenning; his children, Damond Wayne Fenning of Duson and Valerie Fenning Rawlings (Casey) of Broussard; his grandchildren, Amber Fenning, Taylor Fenning, Kiersten Fenning and Emily Fenning; and his great grandchildren, Errol Daigle, Kinlee Gamache and Rielyn Melancon.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations in the name of Mr. William Fenning to be made to Hospice of Acadiana. (2600 Johnston St, Lafayette, LA 70503).
