It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilcide Menard Jr. (Carencro, Louisiana), born in Youngsville, Louisiana, who passed away on November 3, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ada Campbell Menard and Wilcide Joseph Menard, Sr.; and his siblings, Tom Menard, Ivy "Beo" Menard, Eunice Trahan and Mazie Vallot.
He is survived by: his friend Troy Faulk; his son Robby Dale Menard (Monette) of Lafayette; his former wife Ruth Cormier Menard of Carencro; his grandchildren, Hannah Menard of Duson, Grant Menard (Ashlee) of Maurice and Caleb Broussard (Jancie) of Delcambre; his great grandchildren, Baylee, Jhett and Owen; his sister Ruby Menard Broussard; and his godchildren, Mary Bourque, Wayne Menard and Laura Stout. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
