She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Babineaux and Velma Babineaux; and her godson Harry Lee Falcon. She is survived by: her husband Vaughn Savoie of Bosco; her daughters, Shannon Thompson (James) of Cankton and Paige Jones (Bryce) of Duson; and her siblings, Andy Babineaux (Lana) of Church Point, Glenn Babineaux (Janice Jones) of Church Point, Lenell Prejean (Mike) of Cankton and Linda Falcon (Steve) of Scott. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM at the Melancon Funeral Home (4117 N University Ave, Carencro, LA 70520). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the St. John Berchmans Catholic Church (552 Main St, Cankton, LA 70584).
