He is survived by: his parents, Beverly Chandler Stelly (Lafayette) of Charleston, SC and Leroy Joseph Stelly of Lafayette; his brothers, Monty Lee Stelly of Lafayette, Ronald Keith Stelly of Diamondhead, MS and Kenneth Paul Stelly; his sister-in-law Tammy Gibson of Baton Rouge; his sister Deedra Ann Comeaux (Lloyd Comeaux, III) of Youngsville; and his nieces and nephews, Travis Champagne (Donna), Zachary Thompson (Brittany), Josh Fayard (Stephanie), Tristan Barras and Kristen Comeaux.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Melancon Funeral Home (4117 N University Ave, Carencro, LA 70520). A rosary was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church (610 Rain Tree Trail, Lafayette, LA 70507).
