She was predeceased by: her husband Haywood Brasseaux; her son Lonnie Brasseaux; her parents, Otto Stelly and Anna Celanise Stelly; her siblings, Edward, Cora Nezat (Gene), Anna Lou Thibodeaux (Ray) and Georgia Stelly; and her grandchildren, Jody Brasseaux and Christie Guillot.
She is survived by: her children, Jackie Brasseaux (Ngaire) of Leonville, Brenda Richard (Ronnie) of Rayne, Loraine Knott (Pat) of Sunset, Diane Boudreaux (Deacon Dwayne) of Leonville and Catherine Credeur (Edmond) of Carencro; her siblings, Glynn Stelly (Thelma) of Arnaudville, Geraldine Richard (Leroy) of Arnaudville and Diane; and her brother-in-law Deacon Dwayne Boudreaux. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; thirty-six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
