He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ellen Geraci Bares of Carencro; his son Terry Lee Bares, II; his wife Heather Bares of Mire; his daughters, Ashlie Ann Krantz (Johnny) of Lafayette and Catherine Mary Lund of Carencro; his grandchildren, Taylor Leigh Bares Romero, McKenzie Leigh Bares, Kimberly Lauren Lund, Anna Elizabeth Krantz and Joseph Henry Krantz; his stepgrandchildren, Kelly Ann Krantz, Ryan James Krantz and Jason Krantz; his great grandchild Levi James Romero; his siblings, Victor Bares (Wanda) of Diamondhead, MS, Barry Bares (Chloe) of Metairie and Dorothy Herry of Denham Springs; his sister-in-law Jeanette Mayer of Baton Rouge; and also Terry Lynn Bares (Amy) of Scott.
